This policy explains how fees are notified and paid at Global Institute of Management & Technology. The fee for each program and session is published on the Admissions page and in the fee notice issued by the accounts office.

Fee structure

Fees are fixed for each program and session in accordance with the norms of the regulators, the affiliating university and the fee-fixation authority of the state, where applicable. [To be confirmed by GIMT: authority approving the fee structure and reference of the approval] The fee notice lists tuition and other heads (such as examination, library and development fees) and optional services such as hostel and transport.

No capitation fee

No capitation fee or donation is charged. Any amount paid must be against an official receipt issued by the institute.

Payment schedule

Fees are payable semester-wise or annually by the due dates in the fee notice. Instalments may be permitted in genuine cases on written request to the accounts office. [To be confirmed by GIMT: instalment rules]

Payment modes

Fees can be paid at the accounts office or by bank transfer, UPI and other modes notified by the institute. Payments to individuals or third-party agents are not valid.

Receipts

An official receipt is issued for every payment. Keep your receipts; they are needed for refunds, scholarships, no-dues and income-tax purposes.

Late fee and dues

A late fee may be charged after the due date as notified in the fee notice [To be confirmed by GIMT: late fee amount / rule]. Students with outstanding dues may be asked to clear them before examination registration, results or certificates are released, as permitted by the regulations. Original documents deposited at admission are never withheld for dues.

Scholarships and concessions

Approved scholarships and concessions are adjusted against the fee as described in the Scholarship Policy.

Refunds
